MY HOMEOPATHY JOURNEY & THE HISTORY
My Story
I always knew I wanted a more natural medicine approach, especially when having kids. A dear friend of mine gifted me a homeopathic kit and book as a baby shower gift, but I felt very overwhelmed with analysis paralysis not knowing where to begin with this system of medicine.
Soon after receiving the homeopathic kit while I was pregnant my husband got a puncture wound in his shin from a work injury, and said friend told me what to give him and he healed so quickly and never needed antibiotics. Once I had my first born I got mastitis at 2 weeks postpartum and I tried everything under the sun to resolve it but nothing was working, finally I was guided in what to take and it was gone by the time I woke up from a nap after dosing before the nap. I was amazed and so relieved but still not quite sold yet.
When my son was 8 weeks old, just a few weeks later, he had a fever for a few days and finally we decided to take him to the hospital. Long story short he had a bacterial infection and they said he needed antibiotics. I said to my husband “I really want to try to heal this with homeopathy, if it doesn’t work I will give him the antibiotics.” Within 12 hours of dosing all of his symptoms were resolved and no antibiotics were needed. THAT’S what finally sold me that this medicine is powerful.
Ever since the experience with my son I had this voice in my head to further my education in this space. So, 4 months later I applied to a well renowned school (Academy of Homeopathy Education) and by January I was in my first class. I wanted to go to school to have more knowledge just to help my own family, but then I fell in love with homeopathy at such a deep level. I realized quickly how life changing this medicine is and how many lives I could help with it. So, here we are — Live Easy Homeopathy up and running. I am so grateful to be in the seat of a Homeopath and to support people along their healing journey.
Homeopathy History
Homeopathy has a long and thoughtful history rooted in careful observation, compassion, and a deep respect for the body’s natural ability to heal.
It began over 200 years ago with a German physician named Dr. Samuel Hahnemann. At a time when medical treatments were often harsh and harmful, Hahnemann began questioning whether there might be a gentler way to support healing. Through years of study and experimentation, he discovered a simple yet powerful principle: a substance that can cause symptoms in a healthy person may help relieve similar symptoms in someone who is unwell. This idea became known as “like cures like.”
Rather than suppressing symptoms, homeopathy was designed to work with the body—stimulating its own healing response using highly diluted natural substances from plants, minerals, and other sources. From the beginning, the focus was not just on disease, but on the whole person: physical symptoms, emotions, energy, and lived experience.
Homeopathy quickly spread across Europe and into the United States during the 19th century, where it was widely respected and practiced. Homeopathic hospitals and medical schools flourished, and it was commonly used during epidemics because of its gentle yet effective approach.
Although it later fell out of favor as conventional medicine became more standardized (The Rockefeller’s funded pharmaceuticals and Med schools and pushed anything out that did not support that), but homeopathy never disappeared. Today, it continues to be practiced around the world by people seeking a more individualized, holistic path to wellness—one that honors the uniqueness of each person and the body’s innate wisdom.
At its heart, homeopathy is about listening deeply, treating the individual rather than the diagnosis, and supporting healing in a way that is gentle, personalized, and respectful. This tradition continues today, offering a timeless approach to care that meets modern lives with compassion and intention.
